Katie & Josh | A Brown County Fall Engagement Session | Indiana Engagement Photographer
Writing this blog post has me over here all emotional like ahhh. There’s a lot more to this session than just showing off beautiful engagement photos at Brown County State Park in the peak of Indiana’s fall season. Although yes, fall treated us sooo well, and we were so lucky to catch it while it was here in Indy! But I need everyone to prepare for story time now! I met Katie when I was an 8th grader wanting a violin lesson to prep for high school and she was a freshman in high school who was an insanely talented violinist. Obviously I knew she was the nicest human, but we didn’t become friends until later in high school when I was a junior and her a senior after spending hours in the car talking when she was supposed to give me a ride home. Lucky us, we ended up going to the same college, got even closer, and have been friends ever since!
We have grown together, hurt together, cried together, and I love her like my own family. It’s a depth of friendship that I could have never thought I would be blessed enough to experience. Watching her relationship with Josh unfold from the beginning has been so incredibly beautiful. They love each other so well and so deeply, and I think this is where the tears start so I’m going to need to stop the mushiness right here. Just know that they are two of my favorite humans, and I’m so honored to be on this journey with them as they plan their wedding and begin creating a life together. Their wedding at The Freedom Barn this fall is going to be the loveliest and you already know I’ll be crying my eyes out behind the camera.
