Stephanie and Gabriel are getting married in almost a month at the Indiana State House with a reception at the Ritz Charles (yep, can you say dream locations?!). Since their wedding will be the perfect mix of urban and classy, we had to find the perfect location out in nature for their engagement session. Stephanie wanted a location that was "romantic but also edgy" for their session, and I think we managed to create just that!Read More
This is what photography heaven looks like. When Emylee and Kalie inquired with me about their wedding, I knew we would be kindred spirits once I saw they were getting married in Brown County. During every engagement session, my main goal is always to capture my couples in their most honest forms. So anytime that a couple suggests an in home session, I am 100% all in! There's nothing more sincere and genuine than a couple in the space where they feel completely comfortable.

I have been dying to do an in home session, and Carly and David came along and made all my in home engagement session dreams come true! We spent some time on a dark, cloudy day inside their apartment along the downtown Indianapolis Canal, cozying up on the couch and playing with the cutest puppy on earth. Afterwards, we took a little stroll along the canal, stopping to admire all the charming little spots of this city we call home.
So thankful for these kind souls. Carly and David are having a small, intimate wedding at the Skyline Club in February, and I can't wait. Intimate wedding set my soul on fire, and I know their day surrounded by their closest friends and family will be a good one.
Friends, meet Carly and David. x
When I first met with Lauren and Joe, I immediately wanted to be best friends with them. And being an introvert, I don't say that lightly. We spent the majority of our first meeting laughing our faces off and bonding over photos of our pets. It was one of those meetings where I left feeling revitalized by the time spent in such good company, with a heart full of gratitude for what I get to do. By the end of the meeting, I knew the photos we'd create together would be magic.Read More
